I was very sad knowing a launch was going on and I was at work.
How did it go? I thought at times I could smell rocket.
I will be able to be at the friday part of MHM. Keep the fingers
crossed that the weather is good.
Hope to see many there.
I don't care what I fly. As long as it goes up and down soft.
I will probably be able to tow , if the trailer is to be at the normal
spot. Can do it thursday afternoon or friday morning.
I will let all know for sure.
See Ya
A bit windy. Hot days in the mid-80's and beautiful camping temps at night with lows of 41 or so.
Mike Huber and Scott Corlis (Sorry Scott if I misspelled) had lovely Level 3 flights. Congrats to those guys!
Saw a small min diameter L motor project come apart under thrust. Someone else forgot to arm their electronics on a good sized rocket with the unfortunate results.
The winds made single deploy flights a long walk event. Overall, it was a great week end. The grass also had some green in it. Yet, the prairie is still dry.
Thank Skuba and the usual crew that set up and towed. I was hot, dry, and dehydrated upon return home. A good launch!! And, we missed you mike!
sounds like eveything I have done a time or two.
thanks
Just for the record. Took vacation for the July, Aug and Oct. launches. And I will be at the MHM on Friday.
Can hardly wait.
This storm the other day laid down some fantastic moisture. Should green things up for a while. if the wind stays down.
