Hi All,
As many of you know I have been working for many years now developing a launch controller system for small clubs, youth organizations, schools, etc. After many years and various revisions, we have a viable system. I have tested it using an automatic test mode that simulates thousands of launches and it has performed very well. Now, I need some real testing in the field. If you have a private launch event planned, drop me a PM. I am willing to come setup and run the launches for you. I also have a 8 port launch pad I can haul along with me if needed. I am hoping to setup a table at some of our normal launches to show the system off and get some feedback.
Features of the system:
- Can launch up to 8 rockets at a time.
- Key required at console.
- Flag switch that is raised and lowered at the Pad when people stage rockets. This cuts off all main power to the pad.
- Ability to check continuity at the Pad and at the console.
- Provides up to 6A at the launch wire.
- Reverse power hookup protection.
- Uses light weight CAT5 cable 30' to the Remote unit. Remote unit has 10' cables to the pads. Provide 40' clearance to the pad. (10' beyond the NAR requiremnet for up to G)
- Can be operated and controlled by 1 RSO.

Bring a ssystem out on Saturday - we'll put it to the test... Thanks kevin.
Well, would love to but ended up having to help some one move this weekend. 🙁 So, it will have to be next month.... Thanks though!
Also, I just got my permit from the Longmont Fire Department allowing me to launch Rockets in the City of Longmont area. Will still need permission from the local field, but the paper is better than nothing. When I find some time I might post and see if anyone wants to go burn some BP in the name of Product testing....
