Hi everyone,
So I made a 29mm carbon fiber rocket. Finish length on tube was 40" at 6.3oz, as strong a aluimnum baseball bat. "Dude, that's my skull, ding, ding ding." (rocket instead of Vans shoe.) Made a set of cabon fiber fins, there still cureing. Stuff is fun to work with.
So i have tried a couple of other nose cones for 29mm but, they are for paper tubes, just not enough shoulder. Berfore i go nutz with a plastic nose cone, anyone have ideas were to buy a glass or crabon 29mm nose cone. As always, thank you.
I have delt with..
His turn around eas pretty good.
Not sure if He has the size You want.
HI Mike,
I have an extra nose-cone from a 29mm kit I bought two of for a staging project. You can see the kit here:

Its a conical (5:1 ?) cone made out of high temp epoxy-graphite stuff just like the Performance Rocketry Mongoose kits. I'd have to break out the calipers if you want precise dimensions on it. If you're interested I'm happy to trade for something, anything, beer even. Let me know if that will help you out. -Sean
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the suggestion Mike. I didn't see any 29mm stuff, neat site though, logged her into me favorites.
Sean, sounds great to me. I'll send you a PM. thanks
I don't do nosecones...the problem being the molds and gelcoat application gear. - but I know where to get them. I also most definitely will do tubing if you provide the mandrel. My speciality is fin cans. Talk to me.
