I will be using my first reloadable motor...Here are
some questions I could not find the answers to at the
Aerotech web site.
The are real basic questions.
After launching, what is the best way to clean a RMS
29/40-120 motor case?
How long after a launch can one be re-loaded?
It's easy to clean as long as you don't wait too long (more than 24hrs or so). Baby wipes are good for getting out the easy stuff. Make sure you get all of the threads inside and out of the tube and enclosures. Use a toothbrush to get into the threads if the baby wipes don't work. For the real stubborn residue you can use 409 or something similar. I always rinse all parts really good in clean water using a wash cloth after each cleaning to get rid of the detergents, scents and oils in the wipes and 409. You can reload it as soon as it is clean.

Simple Green is probably the best cleaner for early cleaning. If you let the case go, a straight up white vinegar soak really helps.

The time that the casing can be reloaded is how fast you can load it again. Theres not really a time limit.
