I have used Aeropoxy for my fillets, inside and out.
The edges of the fillet is pretty high. When I pulled the masking tape
away it left a ridge.
What is the best way to sand that material smooth and even,
as fillets should be?
Or at this point: Is it better to glass it? This is beyond my ability and
tooling right now.
Or use a little auto body repair putty? I am a little familiar with this.
Thanks for any and all suggestions.
Can you use an appropriate size dowel with some sandpaper wrapped it to smooth it out? That would be my first starting point.

What I have done on my I4 for this issue is use a sharp 3/4" wood chisel and scrape the top of the ridge down. When it gets low enough, I use my sandpaper. I used black magic marker on the surfaces I do not want to touch so that I can see when I am touching them. The magic marker comes off with alcohol or a solvent. Dry-erase board markers are a better choice but I had none. You could also use masking tape on those surfaces so when you start scratching them, you know it and can change your angle..
