My Nebulon Warrior is ready to launch.
Question:
What motor(s)?
I was going to go one small H in the middle. But thinking about
it some. I think the only way this will fly (UP) is with three motors.
What are Your thoughts on that?
And... motor(s) choice? Three F....Three G..... Hmmm 😕 One H
What about two fast burn motors on the pods- ignition with greater certainty and they would likely come to full thrust while still on the rail, and a long burn in the centerline. What's the empty weight?
37oz

What if one of the motors on the pods, does'nt light? 😯
Like any cluster, It is in for one hell of a ride.
8) WOW Mike! I think for the first flight, 3 G-64's. Let's dip some E-matches (Iwill bring the dip). This should get a sure start. Then maybe bump it up a tad... 3X H128's? I will make you a great deal on the motors, I would love to see this baby fly!!! Maybe a H97 in the center with 2 G64's outboard?.... 8)
I have an H238T, if someone would loan Me a 29/180 case.
So 3- G64.......
Or an H238 center and two G64 outer.
What combination?? 😯 😈
You can use my 29/180 case if still needed
What about G80T Single Use on the pods! Blue Thunder propellant seems to light better.
Had to add 11 oz to the nose.
Tried somthing that worked pretty well. A "slurry" of
five minute epoxy and BBs. It took Me up to 48oz.
May now consider an H180 center and two G64 outer.
Tim....I'll take You up on the dip and E's

I used polyester resin and BBs for my wieght last month in my cone.
The whole thing came loose and broke the antena on my Dc-20.
Maybe it was the polyester resen? Too hard?
I put the chunk back in with 20 min epoxy and pinned it with nylon screws, so when it dries I could cut the nylon heads off on the out side of the cone.
Scott,
You might try what I did for the GPS in my 4" cone. Once you have the weight where you want it, wrap up the gps in anti-static foam or bubblewrap, just to give it a smooth shape, then 2-part foam it into the cone. Once the foam has set, you can slide out the gps and it will have a cavity formed to hold it. My Garmin Rino has a smoother exterior shape than a DC-20 out of its case, but I think you could still make it work. With the foam, the weight won't go anywhere.

Just an FYI on Photobucket: I work for Sun Microsystems and when I went to look at your pictures: I got this message, which appeared in the advertising window of phootbucket on the right side:

I had my web browser lock up a couple of times after viewing. Maybe it was coincidence, and then maybe not....
