speaking of adapters I found when trying to us an Aero-Pack 98mm 75mm that they are not compatible.

when using a Aero-Pack 98-75mm with a Slimline 98mm you will need to modify the rings that go on the aft end. they are slightly to big to fit into the slimline.

Not that the Slimline 98mm isn't as good as any, but I stuck with the Aero Pack 98mm retainer and 98-75mm adapter. It's just good to know that for my "Dark Bluebird of Happiness" (to replace my beloved VA) the A3854 will work. Sometimes you just get lucky. 😉 It is still amazing how each manufacturer uses different measurements for different airframe diameters. IF they got together so customers could mix and match components, they'd all be better off. Otherwise, you have to stick to one manufacturer's components. Sounds like sound business logic, but it's not. They'd get more business if they used the same measurements.
