I am new to HPR and picked up my first HPR rocket to build and go for certs on. Is thre anyplace local around the denver metro area for getting epoxy? I am thinking the bob smith epoxy may not be strong enough for the construction. The rocket I received for Christmas is the PML Miranda. Also is there any place for 2 part expanding foam or is it just best to order the epoxy and foam from PML. Hopefully I will be up with you all in the spring to join and do a L1 flight.
Welcome to NCR! The Bob Smith epoxy should be fine for all but the more extreme builds. You can get West Systems (though at an inflated price) at McGuckins in Boulder. I just get mine online from Commonwealth or some other rocket store. Hobbytown sometimes carries the 2-part foam.
Don't wait until Spring to join and fly, we go out when it's chilly as well. As long as we can reach the site!

Thanks for the info. The reason I am holding off on coming out is right now I work nights and work friday night and every other saturday night 7pm to 7am. I should be changing to a normal work schedule sometime in January and then will be able to come out on weekends.
Mitch,
West System Epoxy and FG and carbon fiber cloth is also in stock at Plasticare Inc off of Hamden and Sante Fe, when you get into other areas.
Try to come to the annual meeting in Ault and the all-Colorado rocketry dinner at Cinzetti's. You'll meet everyone there.
