James, I had a blaring signal from the flight line. Turns out that the rocket was on the other side of the big hill east of the launch site. Somehow the transmitter got amped up and was broadcasting such a wide band that finding the rocket was a challenge. I was getting a solid signal, even though the rocket was not line-of-site.
I landed too far away, hence my DQ. The transmitter anamoly was a first for me. I did recover, but I was half-way back to Denver by the time I picked that rocket up. Doh!
