Perhaps giving folks 18 months+ will result in more entries. Thoughts?

Given the current state of the world and that this hobby uses discretionary income for most people, I'd imagine a longer timeline in which to spread out the costs would solicit more entries for sure. Plus it allows those who are flying big projects next year to plan ahead for their next thing, being this Upscale.

Plus, if its 18 months out I have a better chance of being able to participate.

Was anything said about the upscale contest at MHM and is it still goin to happen? Just curious, havent heard a thing about it lately

I've been remiss on this - but given that I have just spent the last 3+ months gutting and remodeling a house and then moving into it, I hope I can be foregiven.

Yes, the Upscale Contest is still a go, though no one has given me entry money for it. We did announce and discuss it at MHM, but again, no one stepped up to the plate with cash down so as of now I'm considering that interest is more academic than actual.

My plan is to start pushing it, particularly at Octoberfest and get full rules and such posted a couple months before that.
