I built the lower timer bay in mine to hold either the Missileworks PET2 timer (ultra-reliable I've heard, and two separate timers in one) or two of the PerfectFlite Minitimers (Ultra-high current capable, tiny, cheap, and reliable).

Since I just got my L1, I'm not loading the (6) airstart motors until I've got a few DD flights under my belt.

Ron,
If you're using ematches (or especially Cessaronis), one timer will easily light them. The PF timer can handle more amps than you can supply with a hefty battery pack. I plan on lighting 6 24mm with one. Probably going to use a Lithium pack to keep weight reasonable, but I need about 12 amps or so...

Ron, will be out with our new Rocket Monitor Computer system RMCS. It is a full blown flight computer with 4 pyro channels that you can configure anyway you want including a timer.
