Found a nose cone Saturday July 10th. Ran out and dug it up today.
4" with blue tape and a fair qty. of BBs for weight.
First two pictures.
Next five pictures are of a 'core sample'. Not from this year, I
think.
Had black wrighting on it. Possably one was an (A). 4" or larger.
Probably phenolic. Not sure if it had been glassed.
One picture is of a rail button. A 15 button with a nut on the inside
and tin or sheet metal to tighten the nut up against. Pretty distinctive
building process. I think.
The fact the plastic nose cone was at the top of the hole sure ment
it came is real hard.
