As a pipeliner that travels the right of ways, I found a 4'rocket the other day while traversing the Pawnee grassland. The nose cone is missing as well as a fin. It has an orange parachute. I dissected it to see what makes it tick. Looks like a lot of fun. Thought maybe you could pass around this email to your club members to see if we could return it to its owner.

If this guy or his crew regularly do this sort of thing, it would seem a good idea to cultivate them and at least get contact info from them a a 6-pack or something nice for him. You can never have too many friends. For another, it might be good to do the same for the surrounding land-owners... if not beer, then ask if they need any help picking up trash or perhaps digging out a culvert or some other good-neighbor sort of thing. My dad always said that it is far, far better to have people feel that they owe you than the other way around. Leave people feeling positive about doing you good deeds.

My CHEYENNE rocket is still missing. I sure do not remember the color of the chute.

My motor case had my phone number on it. I would bet either the case
is missing or this is not my rocket.
I reallllly think mine was a core sample from about 3000'.

Was there any more info on the rocket found?
I was sent a picture of the rocket. It looks like PML AMRAMM with a 54mm motor mount.
