Persistent HOT and DRY weather has punished the prairie to the point of a much higher risk and un-safe conditions for NCR’s anticipated rocketry event. HIGH SKIES IN JULY has been cancelled. It is shaping up to be a long, dry summer.
Apologies for the late notice but certainly, were you expecting different news? Please celebrate the Fourth of July safely and responsibly. Plans for a summer celebration are fermenting. In the meantime, looks as if the Southern Colorado Rocketeers remain actively flying – their next launch event even includes a Gliderfest - scheduled for July 15th.
