Here is the place on the Topic for the Upcoming June 3rd Research day. Looks to me to be a big day for those (assuming the wind, Rain and whatever else in weather can hold off) that missed flying on MHM Research day, as that this will most likely be the day for them to put those flights up and burn up that AP that has been itching to be burnt since before MHM.
Would love to hear of how many and who and what the flights are to be planned. Im pretty sure we will see stuff from Jim Amos, Mike Bennett, Dave Tjarks, Nate Lubby, Tim Thomas, James Russell, Eric Parsons, Dale Netherton, Ed W.and Alpha hybrids, John Bixler, Greg Jeziorski, Brad Mcgarvey, as well as myself. The list continues of people that very well will be flying their research motors and projects, So in that aspects it should be very large. I would love to see and hear about what those in attendance will be flying. We also will quite possibly have a fair amount of certified motors flown as well I would also think as they to can be flown.
Info for my own flight will be...
Rocket flown- is my L3 bird Full Throttle.
Motor flown- N-3560/16,406ns. in the AMW 98-17500 case Red formula 4.75 burn time. Estimated flight 15 to 17k. Also will be testing new Missile works Electronics with new onboard video.
Come on guys, fess up. I need to know if I should come up Sat or Sun. 😀

Depends (don't you just hate that answer?!)
-if you want to fly, you must be TRA and L2 or higher. If you are both TRA and L2 or L3, you can fly anything you want -- big or small, certified or EX.
-if you do NOT want to fly of if you are not TRA or are not L2 or L3 or if you don't have a secret decoder ring, you can spectate...

PS I made up the part about the decoder ring....
I made up the part about the decoder ring....
You mean I've been bringing mine out all these years for nothing!
The lack of response tells me that either
1) Nobody is planning on flying anything significant on Sunday
-or-
2) It's a Big, Big, secret and my decoder ring is broken
-or-
3) There just too busy to bother with posting their plans
I may be flying a whole bunch of stuff, on Sunday if the weather is bad on Friday or Saturday. I've got 5 boosts I'd really like to do. All commercial... My SSSS is one of them.

May want to take that decoder ring in and have it checked Doug. Word on the street is that Several folks are planning some pretty cool stuff for Sunday. Most all the research flights that were planned MHM are going to be flown on Sunday the 3rd. So I bet its truly a matter that folks haven't posted anything on it yet. Should be some pretty cool flights.
OK, well I'm TRA L2, but I haven't been able to run down a decoder ring yet. I was planning on coming up for Sunday only until Doug said that his drag race with Art was going up Saturday. How can any self respecting rocketeer miss that? Looks like I better start lobbying to get the whole weekend off. Not sure the wife is gonna be too happy 😯
It should be worth it, you won't even need a neck brace. It should be slow enough they might even collide. That would make for some great footage. To get the decoder ring you need to get the special box of cereal.
Doug
Doug,
Joe and I have been talking about getting the Saturn V off the ground on Sunday June 3rd.
We're not 100% decided, but don't plan on leaving Saturday just yet.
I know I'm planning an M hybrid flight as well as a wimpy J flight (if I get that rocket built in time).
Edward
I wont be attending either the June or July launch. So I hope its a busy launch. Im assuming sense there was so May launch, and the April launch was kind of slow, it should be busy.
I hope EX day is reasonably spectacular - it should be a lot of fun 🙂
I'm debating the Deuce as a possibility for the EX day, but it also may wait until LDRS for skids...
Why not fly it on the CTI's?
Edward
Because I only have 2 flights worth of CO2 cartridges assuming everything goes right, and if anything did happen to go wrong, I wouldn't have much time to fix it before LDRS.
On the other hand, it's really fun and really cool...
That's why I'm still debating it 😆
We'll see. I'll probably bring it and see how it looks.
If it does fly, it'll be on either K530's or K1100's - the skids are very definitely getting saved for LDRS.
Chris.. You are talking about flying it on the 2nd right? as the 3rd is a TRA research launch.
