Does anybody out there have a 2.5" coupler that they'd like to sell? They are getting hard to come by. I can get one from GL but only on-line where I'll pay as much shipping as the part is worth.

Glass? Carbon? Phenolic? Paper?

It would be fairly amazing for somebody to have one of these in something other than phenolic. But now that I think about it, you'd be the person to ask. In recent years I'll bet you've used more 2.5" tube than the entire remainder of the club combined.
To answer your question, phenolic would be ideal as I'm putting it into PML phenolic. But, with a little sanding, I could make fiberglass fit. Carbon... probably too pricy but I guess I'd take it if it were all that was left. Kraft paper... too weak... I'd probably just end up replacing it again.
I take it you have such an item in one or more of the materials listed above?

I do have a single piece of glass, but I'm trying to hold onto that for my Next M900 rocket...something tells me I can squeeze 30k out of it. I will look in my stock for 2.5, I'm fairly confident that I have a piece in phenolic.
I'll let you know later today.

That would be great. I've got to head up towards Ft. C sometime soon to pick up the Garmin from Art. If you find a chunk, please contact me at jon.skuba@comcast.net or call me at 303-817-5303. Thanks much.
