I am putting up my custom built hybrid rocket "Courage" up for sale. This is a 4 inch diameter 13.5 foot tall 98% "N" hybrid that I designed with the help of Jeff Jakob and Bill Colburn. It uses 19.5 lbs of nitrous and 4.5 lbs of R45m rubber and provides about 700 lbs of thrust for 8.5 seconds at mach 2.3. This rocket is not 100 % complete but is close. It comes with one reload. I am selling this rocket for $450.00. I may consider offers.
I might be very interested in this bird Mike. I've been wanting to do a big EX Hybrid, though it was somewhere down the road in my plans. What remains to be done to complete the bird? What about GSE connections and such? Has the motor been test fired?

I need to machine a top collar that becomes the top of the ebay and strengthens the upper body section to the upper tank bulkhead. This system is designed to hook up to nitrous bottles via a high pressure 1/4 inch line or 3/8th in line like Jeff does his rockets ( http://www.rockethigh.com/) and ( http://www.rockethigh.com/shopping/enter.html) Look at the 100mm Hybrid sounding rocket for $1495.00. Mine is the same except a bigger tank, 4 injectors instead of one so more thrust and longer burn time. No this motor has never been fired. Hence the lower cost. I really should be selling this rocket at $1000.00 but It is not complete and never been fired and I am a motivated seller.
