I'm just floating this out there to see interest. I purchased a few Garmin DC-20 dog collar trackers a while back when I was thinking about my L2 and bigger. Since then, life has kept me too busy to fly even LPR for quite a while.
As NCR members seem to be actively using the Astro dog tracker, I thought I'd check with my local guys first before putting it up on The Rocketry Forum (TRF). Too many on there seem to hate on the Garmin product.
Anyway, I sold one to a member a while back, and I have 2 with all the cables, etc. and a single 90 degree SMA fitting to tip the rubber ducky antenna over as well. I do NOT have the Astro GPS, although several in NCR do have one.
Let me know if anyone's interested. I'd have to look back to see what I paid for them and what I'd take.
Thanks,
-Ken
Ken,
Do you have these still available? If so I'm interested. edwardcw (at) gmail (d0t) com
Edward
Ken,
I'm interested as well - if you still have them..
Ed
Edward and Ed,
I paid $100 each for these. They've never been flown (or been on a dog!). What would you give for them?
All my L1 level rockets are in need of repair, and my L2 PR Competitor 3 hasn't even been started yet. I just don't have the time to invest right now.
Let me know. I can best be reached by email at franzel (dot) ken (at) gmail (dot) com. Or call/text at (303) 870-6747
