Well I got this kit for my Level 2, but after receiving it, laying it out on my living room floor, and calculating the cost of motors to send it skyward, I think I want to sell it. The Wildman Dual Deploy is about 80 inches long, weighs about 6.5 lbs, with a 54 mm MMT. The kit isn't what I would call elegant, but it is fairly simple and looks indestructible. 3" diameter fiberglass tubing with beveled G10 fins. Nice clean cuts on tubes and nice fins.
The kit does not come with parachutes, flame shields, and a couple other odds and ends, and the shock cords looks like nylon to me instead of Kevlar. But you can check out the rocket at:

List price is $286
If you are itching to send something big skyward on a K motor, this may be your rocket. Sell for $125 (about the cost of a K motor!)

Chad,
At 6.5lbs, you could still lob that up with a decent I motor for 50 bucks or so. Heck, even the H999 will kick it up. The Wildman DD is almost the same as my PR Comp3, which I bought for L2, but haven't started yet. I figure I'll debug it on an I600, then go for broke on the L2 shot with either a long-burn K350 or an L1400 Loki. A good fiberglass rocket will last you a LONG time. If I didn't already have something close, I'd grab that from you.

HE%@
I figured it would be a good one to put together!

Yes, you are correct of course, but being a mostly mid-power guy, the idea of paying $55 only to get to 3500' seems a bit steep. Then there is the need for bigger chutes and all... so I'm still going to wimp out on this one. Eventually I'll get there, but probably with my own scratch built design.
Did I miss something? Did you say that you are selling that for $125???
Yup, it seems like a steal to me, too. Unfortunately, unemployment takes away all good deals! Yeah, I'd buy that if I were you.
Ken
If it's available I'll take it.

Ron, unless he sold it already to someone else, it is yours, I don't need to spend $125 on anything unless it is an airplane or Odyssey! Great deal though!!!
I pm'd him this morning.... I suspect it was gone before the 3 of us saw it though.
Looks like the Wildman DD is sold, with two on the waiting list. Thanks for looking.
Chad
Thanks Chad, sorry we couldn't talk longer. Catch up with you at a launch sometime.
Very nice bird!
