Great news Tim on your new line of motors. Now I can relieve my wallet of money for reloads at one place. I love one stop shopping!
8) John, I think we are in the Golden Age of rocketry. I know that there are problems with Feds, and land issues, and such. But just think, you can come to MHM, and you will find EVERY motor made by every company out there. The vendors, from 'the Garden to Con, John, and myself will have, onsite, enough parts and kits and supplys so that you can build any rocket you have in mind. And fly it at a site with 10's of thousand of acres, with up to 35,000ft windows. Not only that, the flight line has EXPERT fliers from A's to O's ready to help at the drop of a hat. If this is not Golden, what would be? This may well be the best rocketry year of all time! And LDRS is in Kansas, throw in a trip to Balls, maybe HellFire, and you will have to have VERY deep pockets. Or, just come out to watch, what a show! Bring it on! 8)
Well said Tim, what a great year it will be! Looking forward to flying with everyone this year!

I don't want to rain on the parade - it will be an awesome year for flying - but the windows to thirty five are still in the works and not yet approved. 20K is still extra-ordinary airspace to play with. Once it goes out of sight, what fun is that? Big and dumb or sleek and slim, gravity still works. One of the real problems now - there are TOO many motors to choose from!!!!
Should I fly this motor or should I fly that motor, well, I guess I'll have to fly both!

I assume the title was meant to read AMW? Or is there a new motor line that GLR picked up?
AMW
There we go Fixed..
So did GLR pick up the AMW line or is it just Tim personally? I'm VERY excited to have AMW regularly available on-site at launches.
Tim - How much do you plan to keep in stock? Your selection of AT has always been awesome, but I can imagine the cost of inventory with all the stuff you carry, not to mention car space, has got to be getting pretty substantial adding another large line of reloads. I personally like the 54/1750 and 54/2550 AMW reloads myself.
8) First, GLR has picked up the AMW line. We placed a startup order with Paul and, if I can get a few moments, I will pick up what Jim Amos has. We are planning on the full 54 and 75 lines, with a few 98 as needed. We will have a few 38's but that line is going to be changed to blend with Cesaroni 38's so we will see how that shakes out. To get all this stuff around is a work in progress. Just this month alone, my motor and hardware orders are close to 30K (GLR's cost). I think the guys and gals will need to call me alittle more to be sure I am bringing what they want, or be ready to fly what I bring. Not that that is bad, I do bring alot of stuff! And as always, I have the hardware for the loads, so it could be fun trying new and different loads. Remember, if you can stuff it in your rocket, I'd fly it! 😛 (Please, no cats)
Tim - Can you elaborate on "blending" the 38's? Due to budget constraints, I will probably be flying more 38's than 54's this year. I have one AMW 38/640 casing i think it is, an was trying to decide if I wanted to expand with a couple more Cesaroni 38's or AMW if they offer others. I do like all the different loads and colors of the AMW stuff, but the pure simplicity of the Cesaroni's is also very appealing. I'll look forward to chatting with you about it this weekend.
I had read that AMW had demonstrated Red Rhino in the Pro38 "so easy an idiot can do it" case, and said that Skidmark would be coming for that case as well.
Tim, can you confirm/deny? 1-6 grains? Maybe I won't get rid of my Pro38-3grain case.
Ken
I think getting rid of it would be a good idea. Just toss it in the back of my car on Saturday and I'll take care of it for ya 8)
8) Well, here is what I have heard from the people who might know. First off Cesaroni will be making most, if not all, Cesaroni and AMW propellant. The Pro 38 cases will soon have the regular loads plus, they will fly the AMW loads also. RR, GG, BB, Skids plus many new colors. Cross compatable. They should be ready to go before Summer. So hang on to your hardware. I have heard rumors of new drop-in 29 and 24 loads that will fit Aero cases, just rumors. The word is, the loads would only fit Aero (monster) hardware, as there would be no new hardware to buy. Drop in style GG,BB,RR loads for 29 hardware. Only Rumors. I see the suppliers moving toward loads that fit any hardware. The money is in the Propellant not hardware. We will see...stay tuned 8)

According to an anncoument that Paul and Anthony at AMW/CTI made recently I saw, was that the 38mm line of AMW hardware is no longer going to be produced. They were thinking on doing a buy back program possibly of that hardware.. for those that wish to keep their AMW 38mm hardware they are going to do for that hardware what they have planned for the entire AMW hardware line (54-75-98mm) to make so CTI loads can be used in them. To do this a special closure and washer assembly will be used in the AMW hardware to make them compatable and useable. Thus making CTI loads work in AMW hardware. All the formulations of AMW propellant are being certed in Pro 38/54/75/98mm cases as well. Basically a full line of both manufactures formulations (along with a bunch of new stuff like new Tiger loads fast and slow, and Fast and slow White wolf loads, Moon burner in AMW colors, and more as well as the new Kryptonite line of propellant.) I must admit Very cool stuff. Plus if I understand correctly they will be certing their loads for another manufactures hardware.... Brand A.
