Thanks to this wonderful economy, I'm back with the (many) unemployed again.
I was told that the company I was with was very stable, no layoffs, good long term outlook. Well, that changed this year and they had their first major layoffs and I (being the new guy and not highly visible) was one of many to go.
If anyone is aware of companies hiring, I'm an EE with a background in hardware test, but very flexible.
Thanks,
Ken
I feel for you Ken. I'm still out after a year and 3 months. Aside from the occasional consulting gig and some small networking projects, the well for me has been dry. This is by far the longest I've been out of work or not running my own business since I was 13 years old.
Good luck in your search. I'm trying to figure out something completely different.
Warren
I guess that explains, not to mention probably the worst phone interview I ever had, why they haven't called me back to at least say nah. I'm so sorry, Ken. PM an e-mail address to me, and I'll send you all I find. I see a lot of positions for EE's. Try indeed.com. Warren, same goes for you. I spend many hours a day looking for jobs and tend to find work for others and not me. 😯 What, last month 431,000 jobs were added and our President said we were heading in the right direction. He said this, knowing full well that 411,000 of them were temporary census jobs. Things have not gotten better. Nothing has changed. It's all smoke and mirrors, and of course, lies.
