Hey Tim, I was wondering if you could enlighten us all as to the status of the Dyna-wind tubing. I'm interested in trying it out in camparison to the glass reinforced tubes I've been making myself. And since I've been itchin' to try a vertical assault for awhile, I thought maybe I could kill two birds with one stone so to speak. Anyway, any chance you'll have any of the tubing at the next launch or at the annual meeting?

favorite huh? i'll trade you one for your beautiful L3 bird 😉
8) I do have a sample of the new Dyna-wind Tubing. I shall bring it to this weeks launch. I must say that is sure nice. It is the best production wrap I have seen. The credit has to go to the Colorado guys, Conway, James and several others helped Kent with the basic idea, and Kent altered it for production runs. There is a good supply of 2 in. and above in the Kansas warehouse. I will get prices. Also I will be doing a test launch of the new Giant Leap Kit- D'star. 54mm X 4" tube about 50in. long. I will be flying it on a Popcan motor and a J90 if all goes well. We will be asking NCR Fliers for feedback on the new bird. Your thoughts will be helpful, as we are getting ready for a production run. One more thing, some new motors from Aero are in stock. 2 greens, J500G 38/720 and I245G 38/360. The new Fast Jacks I225FJ 38/480 and I305FJ 38/600 Lastly 2 new Kosdon 38 loads I301W-18 38/640AMW and I550R-20 38/640AMW The I550r pops a 150lbs. thrust! I will be stocking more Green, Fast Jacks and Kosdon loads as soon as Aero release them. The new G80 is in for re-certing and will be out soon. 8)
8) Here is the breakdown 3 X 48 is 49.95 4 X 48 is 56.95 6 X 48 is 84.00 7.5 X 48 is 99.00 The 3 and 4 are one wrap of 10oz glass, the 6 and 7.5 are 2 wraps of 10oz glass. We use only Areopoxy and all the tubes are heat cured. They weigh about 10% more than regular Phenolic tubes. The finish is smooth as glass. More sizes are coming. 8)
Oh, man! I need a 4" rocket, and can't wait to see and hear feedback about the D'Star! And, finally the AT greens! Suh-weet! Thanks, Bret, about the June launch. If I hadn't spent a year planning and building that rocket and Art hadn't put so much into that paint job, I just might trade you for a VA! I'll replace that rocket with one that's similar but 2 foot shorter, and I'll break it in with a CTI M or L load from Tim and an N Russell Red from James. This next year is going to be a great year for flying!
Tim, can you bring some Dyna-wind to the annual meeting?
sweet. can't wait to see it, although i may have to as i am not sure how bad i want to drive up to the atlas site if it's really gonna be snowing. i'll be watching the weather report.
8) I will try to bring a few 3in and 4in to the meeting...can you say door prize? 😛
😯 don't tease me now...
Something tells me that the club will sell a record number of RAFFLE TICKETS at the annual meeting! KA-ching! 😉
