Many guys have gotten their L3 on Intimidator 4's (98mm airframe, 75mm motor tube). The kit is normally $239. In an effort to clean out my garage 🙂 I am marking them down to $199.
I only have TWO of these, and I'm not going to bring in any more PR kits due to my travels.

Great rocket. I purchased one of these from John and I am building it now for my L3 bird. If you are working in this direction, IMHO, it is a great choice that can be suitable for L2 and L3 and John's price is great. Nothing like a glass bird. 8)

That is indeed a lot of rocket for less than $200. It is THE WAY to go if you want to do an economical L3 (my biased opinion). After many scratch-built L1 and L2-class projects, I ended up building a kit for my successful L3...
