Hey folks. While I wait for the FCC to re-open and process the successful passing of my Technician and General Amateur Radio Licence Operator exams (Yay!) and issue me my HAM radio call sign, I'm wondering if any one can offer some product suggestions for telemetry hardware that include both a 3 (or 6) axis accelerometer and GPS transmission downlink using Amateur Bands available to General-class licensees. My OpenRocket simulations suggest my Mad Cow Tomach on a Cessaroni L935 IMAX (Pro54 3147L935-P) will hit about 35 g's. Probably less because I haven't added the mass of the electronics, but these need to be high-g proven. The purpose of these avionics is to measure the rocket's velocity during the flight, and to be able to find it after it goes out of sight. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Bdale and Keith offer up about the best options going, if they are back at it. Bdale lost most of everything in the Black Forest Fire but has been recovering nicely. Local and very much a flyer.
