Well, for an update I am currently still waiting on the ATFE for my permit. It was thought it should have come by the end of last week but as I was informed there were large back logs holding things up when I talked to them then. Trust me when I say frustration has begun to set in. Whatever their reason I will be persistent and patient on getting the job done. At this time as to when availability will be for Loki and/or Gorilla products im unsure as it all rides on that and the timing. The original plan was to hope to be vending by MHM. I would like to hope to keep that But again it all depends on that and a few other small things. At the moment we are again still the ones with current agreements with Loki and Gorilla to be their vendor for our area. As soon as that happens the next will be finishing with the state permits and DOT certification so we will be able to ship product.
Now for the announcements.
I recently had tossed the idea on putting in a line of Rocketry components/parts, kits and more. So with that I would like to announce we will also be the Local Performance Rocketry dealer as well. Besides the stuff mentioned above we will be also adding some very cool stuff to the research line from Performance as well. Things like High temp Motor liners for those high heat and long burn applications, Custom liners for just about any size of motor from 38mm all the way to 6, 8 and larger diameters. As well as one piece liners for larger motors (Like a 6" P motor would use 2 48" phenolic liners with a grain glued in the center like a coupler. Works but can be a potential spot for issues of a burn through.) And even moving into single use motor cases. Varying in small to very large!!! (29mm to 6"potentially) For those folks that seek high altitude and lighten the weight these will make great motors. We will be taking any and all pre orders very soon. Please feel free to email me with any questions or orders you have..

Local Performance Rocketry dealer as well
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Well Im glad to see someone is excited!! 😉
Still working on things, been slow going but we will get there.
I too would be very glad to see a local PR dealer, assuming you can keep some inventory. I've been waiting for some PR nosecones for my 38mm min dia rocket for about 4 months. 👿
Getting inventory may take some time and of course some finances. Lots of different directions this is all going. But with work and time it will get there as well as support from folks like you all to help us get you all the things you want and need. For now if there is anything you want I have it on special order/pre-order basis and yes we will eventually get things in stock. For now is just with start up and to get the ball rollling. The larger my initial orders are the better I can help you all as well.
Now so everyone knows and doesn't have any issues as i know some folks have had them in the past when ordering direct. I don't know what the reasons are why whats or where, As fas as those issues and stuff, Not sure I really wish to get involved with past issues of PR but I will try to help where I can.
I do know this for fact. People ordering from vendors are getting what they ordered. Something I guess that suppling a few vendors vs many fliers helps out there.
But one thing is for sure about it as you can be rest assured if you order something through me YOU WILL GET IT.. and you should get it in a reasonable fashion. Also with that I am of course looking at what other perks I can offer to club members and those that order through us for a benefit to them for doing business with us. Please I know some of it may seem as a hassle for now. But again its all still new and just starting rolling.
For those of you that have had past issues please contact me off list and we can discuss it and see how I may help. I'm willing to try if I can.

I've had many conversation with Curtis of PF and many, many broken promises. After a couple years of this and complaining loudly along with a bunch of other folks in the compositerockets email list, Curtis called me and offered me a bunch of freebies to make up for his past non-performance. I didn't take him up on the offer - my own fault. Others have indicated he was late shipping that stuff too though. He makes a wonderful product, he just doesn't do the marketing and fulfillment right.
I'd vote for and support another, local, PF dealer for sure.
Warren
Your right Warren. That seems to be something in past though. Not sure what all has changed for Curtis, But I do know he got some new machines and hired 4-5 employees. For whatever reason it is doing things through a dealer vs direct seems to yield different results. Maybe its easier for him to deal with 5 to 6 folks then it is a few thousand.. What ever the case may be If im going to give this a go at it I want to be sure people know the first and most important thing. Thats my philosophy on business. Customer service, and people. The last 22+ years ive spent in the Automotive business has taught me alot. One of which especially in the auto parts world as it goes like this
" All auto parts stores have and sell parts. But its the service and the people that are helping you and selling them to you that make the difference and set them apart. People buy people."
I live by that for pretty well everything I do in my life. Thats how we also intend to try to take care of Colorado Research Supply and its customers.
I have to admit, Ive seen a large issue with several vendors and manufactures in our hobby. Not Just Curtis's past issues but others I could list and name quite easily that I see have bad service. Seem s to have become the norm and why people accept it I dont know. Of course here in Colorado I will have my work cut out for me because we have what I think are some of the best folks this hobby has to offer as vendors and manufactures. Guys Like Tim Thomas, Jim Amos, Ed W., and the list goes on. Some big footprints to walk in..
But ,I know that without all of you we cant make it. No one can. it all of you folks support that make us. .
