it’s May2-4, and I’m gonna miss it for the first time since I joined NCR too. I have a family obligation that weekend that I can’t miss. I am SO bummed.

I’ll give it a try for sure. I use a 10oz glass aerosleeve sock with West Systems on all my cardboard or phenolic airframes any more just to improve durability. I’m anxious to see these tubes compared to mine. I’ll… Read more»

I agree with Conway here. I make my own ignitirs, using the Magnelite pyrogen and CAT 5 wires with 26ga nichrome. They work great, but I wouldn’t touch ematches. Reliability is to critical and the commercially available ones have been… Read more»

Bret Packard replied to the topic "Tim Thomas /Giant Leap NOT coming to Dec.Launch" – 5 years, 11 months ago
Thanks for the heads up Tim. I’m out of HPR motors so it would have been a bummer to go up and have you not be there. I’ll just take the $50 of gas I would have used and put… Read more»

You heard anything further Ed? Their website now says they are closed, and I’m still waiting on an order from almost a month ago that I have recieved shipping notices on twice, but nothing has ever showed up.

Bret Packard replied to the topic "Aerosleeves" – 5 years, 11 months ago
That’s good. I wonder why they don’t have anything listed on their layup materials page anymore? I did send them an email, hopefully they will respond.
