Use a J825R Honestly though, as Ken said, the motor tube length is largely irrelevant to the length of the motor you can use. Go right ahead and pick whatever motor you want to use. It should work fine regardless.

I have to say, for the money, it is hard to beat the achievements of MER. What they have achieved is nothing short of amazing, especially considering the original program goals.

Chances are you couldn’t.Which is why mine, along with a Perfectflite Alt15k, has been sitting out on the prairie for almost a year now undiscovered.

That would be quite impressive, as I have never heard of or seen a colored motor that could match W9 in Isp (230+ seconds in the atmosphere in relatively small motors)

W9 comparable in just speed, or in Isp too?
