I don’t see an atmospheric pressure term. It’s just a basic form of the rocket equation.(For that matter, it doesn’t even appear to have a gravity or drag term)

That’s kind of a hard price to justify when Wildman has them for $50 each (and GLR has them for $55).

Really? I prefer the 30, personally, as it mounts beautifully on a vertical sled, and fits in a 3″ tube with no modification. You can even squeeze it in a 54.

I thicken the heck out of the epoxy until it’s stiff enough to not run (usually with colloidal silica), and then I do all of my fillets at once.

As you know, I’m doing my L3 at Mayhem as well. I just got off the phone with Wildman, and the rest of my components should show up shortly. I’ll make sure to let you know when I start construction.

From my experience, Rocksim tends to be all over the place with high performance flights. I’ve seen overestimates and underestimates, often by significant margins. It would definitely be awesome on the N5800 though.Beautiful work by the way. I say put…   Read more»
