You want them to be in parallel actually... If they are in series, when one goes, it breaks the circuit. This results in you having a very bad day.

It certainly is a lot thinner than the standard stuff. As for procrastination - I was throwing the final layer of tip to tip on my deuce the Tuesday before Oktoberfest. You aren't the only one 🙂
