RE: Are hybrids dead? I'm considering them dead if less than 5 people out of our club show *any* level of interest in them. Edward |

RE: Broomfield area researchers? Going to a mix session is a great way to gain information, even if all you to is stand around. Group builds (like the Proton) are also a great opportunity. Edward |

RE: Broomfield area researchers? I tinker in the research world. I've done APCP but mainly concentrate on hybrids now. I'm in Fort Collins. As with James, e-mail is the best way to contact me. edwardcw AT gmail DOT com Edward |

RE: Are hybrids dead? The club has some GSE - but lately I've been bringing my own hoses and valves because the solenoid works, but can be hit or miss. Edward |

Are hybrids dead? I've been wondering if anyone else in the club has any *concrete* plans to fly hybrids. I know I fly them, but am considering getting rid of my 2nd tank of nitrous because there isn't the demand. Tap... |

RE: Fire works and fire ban for entire state! Even though the fire ban is lifted - it is still very very dry out there. Dead grass just doesn't green up. Edward |

RE: Intimidator 4 for MHM 2012 Sorry, I didn't read the 20-25 fps. That's screaming in! At 20 fps I get a 48" parachute with a 17.5 pound recovery weight and recovering at the North Site - 5500'. A 60" parachute gives you 16 fps... |

RE: Intimidator 4 for MHM 2012 What descent rate do you want? I generally go for a 10-12 fps because I like landing soft, especially on our prairie. I make a torodial chute that does very well for the size. On my L3 I used a 60"... |

RE: Forward Closure Eyelet Loose I never use swivels in my recovery gear. Your rocket is able to rotate free in the air and a swivel is another point of failure. Loctite and a lockwasher are all you should need. Edward |
