Great post flight trauma analysis. I wouldn’t have thought the expanding foam, once set up, would be subject to mushing when briefly heated but that certainly explains the gooey residue on your parachute.

Perhaps the motor should be removed from casing, perhaps not. I’ve left them loaded for months and not had a problem. However, regardless, the propellant should be protected from moisture by enclosing in a sealed plastic bag to prevent humidity… Read more»

Outstanding efforts all around. Toilets ordered – three units should be delivered Thursday. I still haven’t been told if I get Thursday off from work so I don’t know if I’ll be there about noon or not until after five.

Awesome! It was really so GOOD to be back out on the range! I’ll get weekend details posted as soon as possible but know this, Saturday was a but a puff of wind compared to Sunday’s blow.
