Everyone’s been smoking something. Apparently, none of you, including Jim, seem to recall the very first conversation when Jim offered the very first unit as an NCR raffle prize. Buy your tickets now!!!

Spiltting a rocket apart at Apogee might be called Seperation Anxiety. Both parts would need to have recovery devices attached per Safety Codes and a benefit is then watching two objects defy gravity, for awhile anyway, and a drawback would… Read more»

It’s our club – no rights reserved. I’ve probably still got a few stickers left in my office box – ask at our April launch. Otherwise, contact John Hall at Electricweave http://www.electricweave.com He does graphic design, custom t-shirts etc. Got… Read more»

Takes different nossles for the I405 and I110 but same case. Great propellant! And that J528 is also a kick butt motor. Haven’t flown anything in the 54’s but have been drooling. I’d do that if I were you Tim,… Read more»

Make it even more fun and require a different rocket for each motor size, regardless of whether you have an altimter reading for the smaller ones. Recovery of each has to be accomplished before the next size up is launched…. Read more»

Jeffrey Joe Hinton replied to the topic "North site altitude" – 6 years, 7 months ago
The FAA has used 5430′ for the North site and 4830′ for the Atlas site on our waiver information. Plus or minus a few feet here or there shouldn’t affect sims by more than a few feet.
