Paint not decals. I have only made one rocket that had decals, (4" Thor-x)all the rest have been paint. The extended motor mount is about 1/8" below the fin length.It stands by it-self. I am not happy...

make sure it is kevlar shock cords. I used (used nylon) on one rocket and it seperatedat apogee.
