I don’t have the link handy, but I found it via Google a few years ago in a history of the Pawnee Grasslands.

The dog collars are great. I’ll never fly a bird bigger than 38mm without one again.

12,000′ last I checked. Static tests have always been allowed as fire conditions permit. Given the concrete pad and recent moisture, I would expect no issues.

Perhaps stress fractures from repeated Mach+ flights made it ready to fall apart.

My sympathies Chris… hope you do better next time. Such is what happens in the amatuer rocketry world when you push the limits.
