For Estes type paper tubes, I use a small miter box and an X-acto razor saw. Need to do a little touch up with 220 sandpaper afterwards and then you’re good to go.Welcome on board.Warren

Also, remember that ffff powder has only one use – priming charge in the pan on flintlock weapons. Most BP weapons use 3f, 2f or 1f as the actual charge to fire the bullet.Warren

Most definitely. Sugar and Sorbitol motors, Ammonium Nitrate motors, and homemade Nitrous Oxide hybrids are all definitely within Tripoli rules. Large black powder motors, LOX Hybrids and liquid-fueled motors are a bit touchier subject according to the research safety code… Read more»

I found the only way to deal with the tape sticking too well due to heat is to remove the motor while it is still warm. I actually destroyed a CF fin can and fins trying to remove a motor… Read more»
