Oh wait… 1/2 bates grain fast burn and 1/2 moon or end burners for the outboards….. I’ve got one of each I’d donate to the project.

By the way, I have both Loki and AMW 1750 cases…. I’m not sure if the Loki is 1750, but it is close and I have a K250 moonburner load I’d donate.

Strongly suggest moonburners or endburners for the outboards.

Doesn’t appear that I’ll be able to make it today. An old friend passed away last week and there is a memorial service at 1 so I’ll be tied up.

Whatever you do with the outboards, make sure they are long burn… J90’s or Loki K250’s or similar. The Delta was underpowered and the M almost didn’t come up to pressure before the H’s burned out.

Plainly pop-out and lock fins don’t do the job. Seems to me they overcomplicated a few things and didn’t think everything through. Nice project though.

I may have missed something, but I seem to recall one of you posting that it was 4 or 6 nozzles in the first stage and 4 nozzles in the second with NO central engine, just a central oxidizer tank.Since…   Read more»
