I thought the threaded closures were only 54mm & above. I called Wildman, and sure enough he had them. I had credit I wanted to use, sorry Tim, but I’ll definitely be getting the motor for this, and the alphabet… Read more»

Tim Thomas (lawndartman), of GLR fame, sells threaded forward closures. Check with him, that way you won’t waste or damage a non-threaded, sealed forward closure.

I would drill and tap thru to get the most threads possible in the foward closure. You can use a nut on the threaded portion of the eyebolt to lock the eyebolt to the closure. It also helps to set… Read more»

They make thread front closures. If you tapped and drilled a regular closure I think you’d have to fly it on a research day if at all because you modified the motor.Ron
