Oh, and with the balloon technique, you don’t even need mylar. The balloon releases just fine on its own.

As a matter of warning – it’s not a good idea to get epoxy on your skin. EVERYONE eventually develops and allergy to it – some take longer than others. Once you are allergic, you essentially cannot work with epoxies… Read more»

I cut fin slots on a table saw. Paper and phenolic with a 96 tooth carbide hollow ground furniture blade and composites with a metal cutoff wheel. I have a little adjustable jig I use along with the rip fence.Warren
