Cool. I’d like to build a min-diameter carbon rocket around that sometime. 2000 mph would be a fun goal.I’d love to see that too. IF I could see it……. That might be too fast for me to keep track of.

I agree that for an altitude shot, the J570 would be superior. But for a speed contest, or even just a personal speed record, the J825 would be pretty spectacular. My main question is, does it exist, and will it… Read more»

Adrian, I looked at it.. The new load is 91% of the impulse of the J570 and it flies in the same case. Basically more grunt, less NS, same casing as a J570.The J570 is 1060NS and the J825 is… Read more»

I will be out flying Johnny Bravo on a couple of K motors and MBRTV1 on several 38mm stuff.I am pretty sure Chris and Steve F. will be out both days flying as well.

No need to re-certify – both NAR and TRA will recognize accomplishments with a photo copy of current status on new/ change applications. NCR has tried to make it as easy as possible for NAR members to fly on TRA… Read more»

Looking forward to seeing you guys on the 19th-20th (though not the 12th). If conditions are favorable, I have something to fly at PNG. If conditions are marginal, I’ll wait for Black Rock two weeks later….

I plan on coming up the following weekend and I’ll try again at flying Freeze Frame on the N2800 but this time with two K700 strap on boosters. Nothing like the altitude attempts being flown but should hit about 12k.Doug

If I remember.You had hooked both motors to one channel?They lit a tad seperate?Would having more than one battery help?Or is it better to have one channel for each motor?
