Most altimeter manufacturers suggest having mach delay employed until your velocity drops below 0.8 mach. For my M900 boosts in SkyScraper, I had the choice of 15 or 25 seconds. I had to go with the latter, as it was… Read more»

I assume you have tried Performance? He may have some on the shelf… They can be tough to find. I’ll look later – I may have one or two 38mm? They’d be 5:1 conical….

some clarifications… the ebay was plain, unpainted filabment-wound glass and the airframe was the same material, only that was primed with Kilz primer. The unpainted ebay was half-in / half-out of the primed airframe. I can’t recall exactly where the… Read more»

I’ll be there both days. Leaving Iowa at 5PM CST Friday night and driving straight through. Probably show up about 2AM Mountain time. I *might* stay in Cheyenne or Sidney, but will probably drive straight through.JW

Could someone provide the “Reader’s Digest” version of what a “Research Launch” is again? IIRC flyers must be L2 or up, but any size motor can be flown?

Warren, there are some TERRIFIC AMW motors in the 75mm/3500NS casing. The casing is 19.60″ long and they have all six propellants for that casing….

Make mine an L1115 8) http://www.pro38.com/motor/L1115.html A few more newts and over twice the burn time. Same casing, if I am not mistaken. The link above shows the certification has expired, might be worth checking on that?JW
