I would expect separation to be an absolute requirement after Mike’s experience with his other transmitter rig although that was operating at significantly higher power than I expect the collars to transmit with.Warren

Actually, the Adept system is great and quite cheap ($60) compared to any other transmitter. Until this winter, we had fewer than 10 people in the club who ever flew transmitters with most of them borrowing the 3 or 4… Read more»

The problem with that is the ID morse code sequence only happens once per minute and the tracking beeps are every 2 seconds I beleive. 90% of tracking is homing in on the regular beeps and not on the ID… Read more»

Keep in mind that MOST NCR folks using tracking are using the Adept transmitter on 433.75Mhz. You absolutely must coordinate with the LCO and all other flyers using tracking. In general, tracking is not used at NCR launches for flights… Read more»

My only suggestion would be to change the data output frequency on the USB port from 1Hz to 10Hz or ideally 100Hz… or better yet, make it polled.Warren
